Do you like warmth and pleasantly humid air, but a sauna is too hot for you? Try a steam bath and let your muscles and mind relax. 100 percent air humidity in a steam room alleviates fatigue, benefits the respiratory tract, improves blood circulation and stimulates muscle regeneration. Regular visits to a steam bath will strengthen your immune system. Try a combination of a steam bath and swimming in the pool.
Swimming or any kind of activities in a pool will not strain your musculoskeletal system too much and are suitable for almost everyone. Swimming is ideal for recovering after muscle, spine and joint injuries, as it strengthens and stretches your entire body. Our pool is 15 metres long and 5 metres wide and we use ions that don’t irritate the skin to keep the water clean at all times. The pool features a swimming machine so you can swim against a current, relax and just forget about time. We do not recommend bathing children under 3 years of age.
Using an infrared sauna can be compared to mild endurance training. Thanks to the infrared rays, in 30 minutes your body burns the same amount of calories as if you ran 3 kilometres. Studies suggest that during a session in an infrared sauna, up to 15–20 percent of the harmful substances contained in your body are removed. Infrared rays have soothing effects on pain and stiffness in your joints, muscles and spine, improve blood circulation and strengthen the cardiovascular and immune systems. Infrared saunas are popular even with those whose don’t like the high temperatures in a classic Finnish sauna.
A Finnish sauna has beneficial effects both on our body and mood. So how do you do it properly? Stay in the sauna room, in which the temperature ranges between 80 and 90 °C, only for as long as it is pleasant for you. You should keep your legs, abdomen and head all at the same height and breathe through your mouth rather than through your nose. Make sure you don’t leave out the cold shower at the end of each sauna cycle (the entire cycle should be repeated three times). After that take your time for regeneration in the resting area. Apart from boosting your immune system, a Finnish sauna will relax your muscles and joints as well as the respiratory tract.
Stay in shape, burn excess calories and do something for your heart. In the hotel’s cardio zone, you will find a treadmill, exercise bike, rowing machine and other equipment to target various muscle areas. Exercising on machines fastens your heartbeat and contributes to the proper functioning of your cardiovascular system, releasing endorphins that get you in the mood for further activities.
Immerse yourself in a whirlpool, close your eyes and let the bubbles massage your whole body. The pleasant water temperature of 37 °C and the gentle bubble massage will relieve your muscles from tension, improve blood circulation in the skin, stimulate your lymphatic system and alleviate pain. We recommend spending 15–30 minutes in the hot tub. Don’t forget to rehydrate by drinking enough water.
Our anti-cellulite massage is an effective way to combat orange peel skin. Special compression techniques are used for the hand massage of the abdomen and thighs in order to disrupt fat cells as well as to stimulate subcutaneous tissues and the lymphatic system. Professional Italian cosmetic products by Robeus are applied to enhance the impact of the massage. You will notice the effects already after you first visit, as your skin will become firmer and smoother. The treatment should be repeated.

If you take care of your body, it will take care of you. You can start in our Wellness Centre and cardio zone. If you are checked in at the Thermal Hotel, just go down to floor –2. The access to the swimming pool, cardio zone, whirlpool, sauna, infrared sauna and steam bath is included in the price of your accommodation.
Our experienced masseuses will help you relax or even rejuvenate. Feeling good doesn’t have to be a luxury. Choose one of our spa packages that will get you in shape.

Clients with limited mobility can make use of any options except for baths and the swimming pool. We do not recommend swimming in the indoor pool for children under 3 years of age.
