Thermal Hotel’s legendary Great Hall, which annually holds the opening and closing ceremony of the Karlovy Vary International film festival. The oval cinema hall comfortably seats up to 1,148 guests. Its 22x5 metre stage is height adjustable. Professional technical facilities and lighting are also available. There is a spacious bar and smaller lounges in the hall foyer. The final touches to the Great Hall and its surroundings are complemented by original art installations from leading Czech artists and film festival decorations. GREAT HALL ENTRANCE HALL AND LOBBY The Great Hall Entrance hall and Lobby , decorated with the iconic chandelier by René Roubíček, form exceptional spaces in their functionality and artistic spirit. This part of the hotel, where stars from the silver screen meet during the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, will provide the ideal space for international congresses, banquets, exhibitions or sales events. FESTIVAL LOUNGES The Festival Lounges located near the Great Hall offer flexible spaces for corporate meetings, conferences and training sessions. CONGRESS AUDITORIUM The Congress Auditorium offers versatile spaces that can be easily connected to the round Congress Hall or the Small Cinema Hall. SMALL HALL The Small Hall with 243 comfortable seats offers high quality sound and lighting. Speakers and theatre actors will appreciate its 50 m² stage. SCREENING ROOMS The Projection Rooms provide a quiet and cosy hideaway for cinema lovers. With a capacity of up to 50 seats each, they offer an ideal setting for intimate film screenings, where one can immerse themselves in the atmosphere together with alternative film lovers, colleagues or friends. SMOSER LOUNGE, MOSER TERRACE The exclusive Moser Lounge is adjacent to a covered terrace overlooking the spa centre of Karlovy Vary. The lounge is mostly used for press conferences, important meetings or receptions. Thanks to its unique view, it works as a fantastic venue for wedding receptions or wine tastings. FILM CAFÉ LOUNGE The Film Café Lounge offers a unique view of the meander of the Teplá River, the riverfront adjacent to the Thermal Hotel and the Dvořákovy Sady park. THERMAL HOTEL TERRACES & SUN DECK The stylish Thermal Hotel terraces offer more than 1,800 m² of outdoor space overlooking the spa centre of Karlovy Vary. The partially covered Moser terrace is the ideal choice even in inclement weather, while the Sun deck is the best option for summer events.
